Join us at Collins Barracks for a day of tours, talks, and handling exhibitions with the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association to mark Armistice Day commemorations.

On Saturday, 15th November, the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association are coming to Collins Barracks.

There will be a handling exhibition with artefacts relating to the Royal Dublin Fusiliers regiment, talks about the relationship between the regiment and the historic site of Collins Barracks, as well as tours of our World War I exhibition, Recovered Voices: Stories of the Irish at War, 1914-1915.

These events are free and no booking is required. However, places on the tours and talk are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.



Handling session - Creativity Hub
11am - 4pm

Talk: The Curragh Military Museum and creating a space dedicated to the history of Irish Regiments in the British Army - AV Theatre
12pm - 12.30pm

Talk: An Introudction to the Irish Regiments in the British Army - AV Theatre
1pm - 2pm

Tours: Recovered Voices: Stories of the Irish at War, 1914-1915 - Reception
2pm - 2.45pm 
3.30pm - 4.15pm
