Join us for a free Culture Club at the National Museum of Ireland - Collins Barracks followed by tea, coffee, and chats.

Join James Flynn for a talk exploring the history of the world famous Killarney Arbutus Furniture Industry.

Local craftsmen from Kerry produced these exquisite pieces using only native wood from the surrounding hillsides such as Arbutus, yew, holly and sycamore.
James will talk about the practices of the industry, as well as discuss examples of the craft in the National Museum.
