Spring in to February with a range of engaging, free public tours at Collins Barracks!
Over the bank holiday weekend, join us for public tours in celebration of St. Brigid's Day. These tours will showcase the histories of remarkable and revolutionary women.
This Valentines day, go on our Love, Then and Now tour to follow the fun, surprising ways people have shared affection across Ireland’s past. From tiny tokens to bold artworks, you’ll uncover sweet, quirky, and charming stories woven throughout the National Museum’s collection.
In celebration of the year of the horse, join Evan Furlong on a bilingual (Mandarin and English) tour of the Dubliner's Collection of Asian Art: The Albert Bender exhibition, in which Evan will look at the remarkable story of Albert Bender and the outstanding examples of Asian art he left to the National Museum.
Tours will begin in Reception at Collins Barracks. Booking is not required. However, places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be supervised at all times while on the premises.
