Watch Back: Opening a can of worms - parasites at NMI- Natural History

A parasitic worm preserved in the collections at NMI - Natural History.

Join NMI - Natural History Zoology Curator, Dr Amy Geraghty, for a special online talk for adults to discover some examples of parasites from the collections.

Parasites are found in nearly every environment and creature on earth. They are important but understudied parts of ecosystems - a community of interacting organisms and their environment. Help us to lift the lid on their behaviour, lifecycles and presence in the National Museum of Ireland – Natural History.

This talk was programmed as part of Science Week 2022. It first took place as a closed YouTube live event on Friday, 18 November 2022.
