Cruinniú na nÓg: At Home with NMI -Natural History
While the National Museum of Ireland-Natural History is closed for important building works, get creative this Cruinniú na nÓg with some short 'Museum at Home' activities.
Take a peek inside the National Museum of Ireland – Natural History, fondly nicknamed, the Dead Zoo. Meet the Bengal tiger, walrus and giant deer, as you discover the different types of animals and fossils on display at the Museum during this short video for young children.

Download and print an activity sheet on the giant deer and learn about an ancient animal that lived on your doorstep thousands of years ago! Colouring in the illustration and help the giant deer to escape the ice sheet by completing a short maze activity.
