The Mother Pride Block Party is back on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 June 2023! 

The Mother Pride Block Party started as a spontaneous street party over a decade ago, growing year on year to become the official parade afterparty and largest ticketed event of Pride. The 2022 party saw over 20,000 LGBTQ+ and allies come together over the weekend to celebrate.

On Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 June 2023, the Mother Pride Block Party is back with a bang for a full weekend of queer celebration, set across multiple stages on the historic grounds of the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7.

Headlining this special Pride Block Party weekend are the Mercury Prize nominated pop phenomena Self Esteem on Friday night, and the Grammy winning disco juggernaut, Purple Disco Machine on Saturday evening.

Joining them on the main stage across the weekend are Ru Paul's Drag Race US and UK alumni Bimini, Raja and Naomi Smalls, with Bianca Del Rio hosting the main stage Friday and Panti Bliss hosting on Saturday. Pioneering Irish DJ Krystal Klear & the Mother DJs will play sets across the weekend alongside vocal performances from homegrown talents including Erica Cody and Brooke (Scullion).

Other acts appearing across the weekend include Sing Along Social, Drag Aerobics and set from DJs Kelly-Anne Byrne, Tara Kumar, Claire Beck, Conor Behan, GLAMO, Stephen Dowling, Billy Bunzari, LOU BRU, MiniKimono and Bull Horris B2B RHYZINE.

There will be drag performances across the weekend from Victoria Secret, Davina Devine, Regina George, Paul Ryder, Pixie Woo, Donna Fella, Naomi Diamond, Shaqira Knightly, Anziety, Annie Queeries, Dr Count Evil, Richard Joke, Vicky Volltz, Lavender, Viola Gayvis.

Visitor Information 

Opening Hours  

The Museum opening hours during the event will be 10am – 4pm on Friday 23 and 10:00 – 14:00 on Saturday 24 June. The Museum will reopen as normal at 1pm on Sunday 25 June. 

Museum Access  

Public pedestrian access will be through Benburb Street only from Friday 23 – Sunday 25 June inclusive. The Arbour Hill gate will be closed to the public during this time. The Luas gate will be closed from Friday 23 – Saturday 24 June inclusive.  

Public Parking  

There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Sunday 18 – Tuesday 27 June inclusive (except for disabled parking - see below). 
 

Accessible Parking 

There will be limited accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders on Sunday 18 – Wednesday 21 and Monday 26 - Tuesday 27 June. Please liaise with the steward at the gate when you arrive.  
 
There are no accessible spaces available in Collins Barracks from Thursday 22 - Sunday 25 June, there will be limited accessible spaces available on Arbour Hill instead.
