Wider Than Pictures returns to the National Museum of Ireland

The National Museum of Ireland is delighted that the Wider Than Pictures concert series, presented by Singular Artists, will return to Collins Barracks for the second year running from 21 to 27 August 2023.

Following a successful launch in August 2022, the series returns featuring exceptional international and Irish artists.

Visitor Information 

Opening Hours    

The Museum hours during the event will be as follows: 

Monday, 21 August 13:00 – 17:00 

Tuesday, 22 August 10:00 – 17:00  

Wednesday, 23 August 10:00 – 17:00  

Thursday, 24 August 10:00 – 17:00 (no late night opening) 

Friday, 25 August 10:00 – 17:00 

Saturday, 26 August 10:00 – 17:00  

Sunday, 27 August 13:00 – 17:00  
 

Museum Access  

Collins Barracks will be closed to the public from 5pm on Monday 21 – Sunday 27 August. Public pedestrian access will be through Benburb Street only from 4pm –5pm. The Arbour Hill and Luas gate will be closed from 4pm onwards. 
 

Public Parking 

There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Thursday 17 – Tuesday 29 August inclusive (except for disabled parking - see below). 
 

Accessible Parking 

There will be accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders. Please liaise with the steward at the gate when you arrive.  
 

Café - Good Vibrations  

Good Vibrations will be closed from Thursday 17 – Tuesday 29 August. They will resume normal trading hours on Wednesday 30 August.
