Crafters invited to express an interest for Christmas Craft Market at Turlough Park

The National Museum of Ireland at Turlough Park, Castlebar, will host its 2025 Christmas Craft Market over two Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 5pm on 7 and 14 December.

The Craft Fair will take place in Turlough Park House in the Courtyard workshop room and Courtyard Gallery space (next to the café). There will also be a limited number of stands  available outside in the central  Courtyard area (covered by small pop-up marquees).

There are a maximum of 24 spaces available.

The Museum will advertise the fair locally and will also be hosting a ‘live crib’ pet farm in the outside area of the Courtyard on the day.

The Museum will supply the tables. Power is available. Each table will cost €25.

Please register your interest by email to tpark@museum.ie by 12noon on Wednesday, 8 October. Please include in your email -

  • Your name and the name of your craft business

  • Days you wish to attend – 7 December, 14 December or both afternoons

  • A contact telephone number

  • Address

  • A short (one/two paragraph) description of your craft

The Museum will confirm details to interested participants by Friday, 17 October. If there is a strong level of interest from crafters, we may assess expressions of interest and allocate tables based on the type of craft and its relevance to this event/venue.

Contact tpark@museum.ie for any further information on the event.
