Christmas & New Year Opening Hours

The National Museum of Ireland is open as normal throughout much of the Christmas and New Year period with the exception of:

• Wednesday, 24 December (Christmas Eve) - open 10am to 12pm
• Thursday, 25 December (Christmas Day) - closed
• Friday, 26 December (St Stephen's Day) - closed

Normal opening hours are in place for the rest of the holiday period as follows:

• Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm

• Sunday and Monday, 1pm to 5pm
