The National Museum of Ireland - Natural History is calling on students and future curators to mark the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day (22 April 2020) with a new competition celebrating the wonderful specimens in the museum.

The Earth Day Schools Competition invites students to create and plan their very own exhibition, using the 3D Virtual Visit feature on the Museum's website.

Entrants are in with a chance of individually winning a €50 voucher to spend in the Museum Shop, and a guided tour of the Museum for their class.

The competition is open to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils as well as post primary students.

The closing date for entries is Friday, 22 May 2020, during National Biodiversity Week.
