The Wider Than Pictures Concert Series will take place once again at the historic National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks from Tuesday, August 19 to Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Organised by Singular Artists, this unique series promises unforgettable performances in a venue rich in cultural significance. Don't miss out on the chance to immerse yourself in the magic of live music in an iconic setting!
This year's artists include WUNDERHORSE (Tuesday, 19 August & Wednesday, 20 August); Sharon Van Etten (Thursday, 21 August); The Human League (Friday, 22 August); Kaiser Chiefs (Saturday, 23 August) and Father John Misty (Sunday, 24 August).

VISITOR INFORMATION TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF IRELAND:
The National Museum of Ireland remains open during the Wider Than Pictures concert series, inviting visitors to enrich their cultural experience with a range of engaging exhibitions. Highlights include Harry Clarke’s-Stained Glass, showcasing six exquisite panels from one of Ireland’s most celebrated artists; GAA: People, Objects & Stories, which explores the deep-rooted impact of Gaelic games on Irish identity; and the newly opened Dead Zoo Lab, a dynamic space reimagining natural history for modern audiences. The Museum also offers a full programme of guided tours and family-friendly trails, ensuring an engaging visit for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy great coffee and food at the Synge & Byrne café, located on-site.

There are no changes to museum opening hours:
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00
Sunday and Monday: 13:00 – 17:00
Museum Access:
The Collins Barracks public car park will be closed to the public from Friday, 15 August - Wednesday, 3 September. Public pedestrians will have walking access through all gates from 15 minutes before normal museum opening hours.
Public Parking:
There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Friday, 15 August - Wednesday, 3 September inclusive (except for disabled parking - see below).
Accessible Parking:
There will be accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders. Please liaise with the steward at the gate when you arrive.
