Find out about tradtional life in Ireland through the Museum's Folklife Collections

The objects in the Irish Folklife Collections are the things that were used in everyday life mostly in rural Ireland in the century or so between the end of the Great Famine of the 1840s and the aftermath of the Second World War in the 1950s.

You can find out more about our collections in the Collections area of the website.
