Parking
Visitor parking at Collins Barracks is PAY & DISPLAY:
- €2 for one hour
- €5 for four hours
- €10 full day (8am – 6pm)
- €40 weekly
Car Park Opening Hours
- Monday - Saturday 7.30am - 6pm (gates close 6.30pm)
- Sunday 1pm - 5.30pm (gates close 6pm)
Accessible Parking
There are seven designated blue badge parking spaces.
Cloakroom
Limited cloakroom services are currently available. Visitors are encouraged not to bring any items larger than a backpack to the Museum.
Toilets
Accessible toilets are located at the:
- Reception desk
- Ground floor of the Soldiers and Chiefs exhibition
Parenting Facilities
Baby changing facilities are available within all toilet facilities throughout the museum.
It is possible to take pushchairs/strollers around the Museum as it is fully accessible with lifts, ramps, and wide doors.
Luggage Storage Restrictions
Limited luggage storage services are currently available. Visitors are encouraged not to bring any items larger than a backpack to the Museum. Large backpacks, bags or suitcases should be left in the cloakroom for your convenience while visiting the Museum. Please ask at the reception desk for assistance when you arrive.
Lifts and Access to the Galleries
All galleries in Collins Barracks are fully accessible. The site has four lifts, located in the main reception area, in the east corner servicing floors one to three of the decorative arts section of the museum. There are two lifts in the Soldiers and Chiefs exhibition.

Seating
There are seating areas available in the majority of galleries. Mobile stools are available upon request. Wheelchairs are also available at the reception desk if required.
