Covid-19: Group visits
While following current public health guidelines, the National Museum of Ireland can facilitate a limited number of group visits at present.
Our current guidelines for group visits reflect the NMI’s child protection policy and current public health guidelines as set out by the government and as such must be adhered to fully. If there are changes to public health guidelines, we will update our policies to reflect these changes.
- We require at least a week’s notice for a group visit.
- Please note that a supervisory ratio of 1 teacher/leader to every 15 students/under-18s must be maintained. In the case of groups with children less than 7 yrs or those with special educational needs, a supervisory ratio of 1 teacher/leader to every 10 students must be maintained.
- This will be a self-guided visit, where you look around yourselves, as we are unable to offer guided tours for groups at this time.
