Schools and Teachers

A visit to the Museum can be an inspiring, transformative and meaningful learning experience for your students that complements and supports their studies back at school

Due to current public health guidelines, the National Museum of Ireland can facilitate a limited number of group visits at present. We have had to prioritise groups that we are currently collaborating with on community projects, groups with special access needs, and Department of Education mainstream schools and programmes for those with specific educational requirements. If your groups fulfils one of these requirements, please contact for more information.

Our learning programmes offer a wide range of curriculum-based activities, designed to encourage participation, collaboration and exploration. Contact us by email at to start planning your visit as a self-guided group, or use our learning resources on key curricular themes.
