Political cartoon, "Steam is off, Black and Tan"

Cartoon postcard on the Labour Strikes of the War of Independence, which saw transport stoppages damage the British authorities to move supplies around Ireland during 1920.  Depicts a British soldier and a Royal Irish Constabulary constable stopping a train; the Irish Engine Driver saying "Steam is off, Black and Tan. Nothin' doin' ".  A gun carriage is visible in the second car. By Art Kavanagh, 1920.
