Stone lamp

Glendalough, Co. Wicklow This granite lamp was found in the 1840s in Glendalough. Lamps made from Wicklow granite were a distinctive craft with granite lamps used to light churches found in excavations at Templeteenaun and Knockatemple near Glendalough.
