Registration Department

The Registration Department comprises of the Office of the Registrar, Collections Resource Centre, Offsite Stores, Documentation Team, Library, Archive and Records Management Service. Registration is managed and led by NMI Registrar (Keeper). The Registrar is responsible for:

  • The management of NMI’s Collections Resource Centre
  • Collections documentation, collections information management, standards and terminology
  • Management of Adlib/Axiell, the NMIs main Collections Management System
  • Loans administration and logistics
  • Library
  • Archives and Records
  • Digitisation/scanning
  • Online Collections
  • Collection logistics
  • Departmental financial management
