Set in the stunning grounds of Turlough Park, the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life has a number of unique spaces for corporate events and functions.
The Museum spaces are ideal for holding events such as seminars, conferences, receptions, recitals, meetings and launches.
Located in the grounds of Turlough Park Estate, the Museum comprises the Estate's original house, which is in the High Victorian Gothic Style, as well as a modern, purpose-built exhibition gallery. The extensive grounds also house an artificial lake and the site of a castle that dates from Anglo Norman times.
The innovative exhibits on show at the Museum tell the story of Irish country life between 1850 and 1950 with particular emphasis on domestic life, agriculture, fishing and hunting, clothing and textiles, furniture and fittings, trades and crafts, transport, leisure and religion.
Turlough Park is located just a few minutes' drive from the town of Castlbar, and just 20 minutes away from the town of Westport. The Museum has ample free car parking.
The Galleries Foyer and Audio Visual Theatre are wheelchair accessible.
