Online Activity: Amazing Ice Age Animals

Free

Children pose with a spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta)

Long ago, over 10,000 years in the past, Ireland looked very different, and the animals that roamed the chilly landscape were nothing short of amazing...

Download and print these activity sheets to learn about the cool Ice Age fossils found in Ireland. Use the maps to discover what fossils were excavated in your county and test your skills by completing activities, like puzzels and a word search.

This activity is designed for children aged 7-12 years old and can be used as an at home activity for children and families.
