2. March in Clarke Square

Did you notice the numbers on the wall in Clarke Square? These helped soldiers practice their marching. Have a go at marching together in line with the pace marks - Atten-tion!

3. Calling all GAA fans!

Wear your county colours and see objects dating from the 15th century to the present day. The GAA: People, Objects & Stories exhibition illustrates the influence of the GAA through the lens of social history, design and popular culture.

4. Children's Clothing

How did children dress and play long ago? See for yourself with some clothes and toys that are more than 100 years old in The Way We Wore exhibition.

Explore the Museum through one of our trails designed especially for families. Go on the Heritage Trail, find your Favourite Object or explore our Soldiers & Chiefs exhibition with one of the family activity books.

6. Explore the Barracks Life Room

Experience the life of a soldier in this interactive space. Investigate the history of Collins Barracks and see how soldiers lived.

7. Discover the work of Ib Jorgensen

Budding fashionistas and young designers will be inspired by the elegant creations, original sketches, and timeless style showcased in the Ib Jorgensen exhibition. It's a must-see for anyone passionate about fashion and design innovation.

8. Step into the world of ancient warriors!

Visit the incredible replica of a Japanese warrior armour suit featured in the "Out of Storage" exhibition in Gallery 2. This display is a must-see for both curious kids and history-loving adults. It brings the legendary armour of Japan to life, making it perfect for sparking imaginations and capturing family photos!
