‘An Chathaoir Bheag’ creates an unobtrusive, mobile piece of furniture that can double as a chair or multifunctional surface that is very adaptable for modern urban living.
Distinctive features of the original three-legged chair are embodied in this design with a straight back and medieval jointing methods used such as through tenons, modernised with soft curves throughout and the predominant feature of the slot running through the centre of the back piece and seat.
This chair was on display from October 2021 to early October 2022.
