Tinsmith is a film commissioned by the Heritage Office and the Social Inclusion Office of Galway County Council, and funded by Creative Ireland Programme, 2017-2022.
It is a short documentary about Mary Moriarty and a collection of objects she has lent to the National Museum of Ireland. It features the tinsmith work of Edward Ward, and includes footage of the launch of the exhibition, Travellers’ Journey, at the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life on 10 July 2018.
The film is made by Merchants Gate Films, with director Paul Murphy and cameraperson Ivan Marcos.
