The grapevine at Turlough Park was planted in 1865 by the Fitzgerald family and continues to produce grapes today. This year it will celebrate its 160th year.
Join Andrew Watson, Horticulturalist & Viticulture enthusiast, as he discusses the history of the Turlough Park vine, the Foster's Seedling grapes which it produces and its life cycle.This is the fourth and final event in a series of events in 2025. In this workshop participants will assist with Winter pruning the grapes whilst carrying out a health check of the vine.
