This thought-provoking tour explores the dramatic upheavals that shaped Ireland in the early 20th century, from World War I through to the Irish Civil War. Visitors will encounter the personal stories of ordinary Irish men and women—soldiers, rebels, civilians—whose lives were transformed by conflict and political change.

Through original artefacts, eyewitness accounts, and historical interpretation, the tour traces Ireland’s journey from global war to national revolution. It examines the impact of the 1916 Rising, the War of Independence, and the bitter divisions of the Civil War, highlighting how these events affected individuals and communities across the country.

Designed to foster reflection and deeper understanding, this experience invites participants to consider the human cost of conflict and the resilience of those who lived through one of Ireland’s most turbulent eras.
