✂️ Workshop Description

Join us for a magical winter-themed craft workshop where creativity meets sparkle! Renowned stained glass artist Róisín de Buitléar will be on site, dazzling visitors with live demonstrations of her shimmering snowflake designs. Families are invited to take part in a hands-on paper snowflake craft activity. Using simple materials and guided instructions, children and adults alike can create their own snowy masterpieces to take home and  display proudly. This festive workshop promises a flurry of fun and seasonal cheer. No booking required, just drop in and let your imagination snowball!

👩‍🎨 Meet the Facilitator, Róisín de Buitléar!

Róisín de Buitléar is a multifaceted artist, educator, and curator whose creative vision is deeply rooted in her cultural heritage. Her artworks are held in public collections across the globe, including prestigious institutions in Ireland, Britain, Japan, France, China, and the USA. Notable accolades punctuate her long career, including being the inaugural artist-in-residence at the National Museum of Ireland from January 2018 to January 2019. Róisín recently completed a residency for a climate action project for the Hometree charity as part of Creative Ireland Climate action projects, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to using art as a catalyst for social and environmental change.
