The National Museum of Ireland- Decorative Arts & History is thrilled to welcome Mother Pride Block Party back on the 28th June, 2025.
The Mother Pride Block Party is back and bigger than ever for 2025 – a landmark year celebrating 10 years of marriage equality and gender recognition in Ireland. Expect a massive outdoor celebration of queer joy, unity, music, and dance with an exciting and super fun line up of global and local LGBTQ+ superstars & allies.

Opening Hours
The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks opening hours during the event will be 10:00 – 14:00 on Saturday 28th June. The Museum will reopen as normal at 1pm on Sunday 29th June.
Museum Access
From Tuesday June 24th – Tuesday July 1st.
The Museum car park is closed during these dates and there will be no public vehicular access through the site.
Public pedestrian access to the museum will continue via Benburb Street, the Luas Gate and Arbour Hill.
All gates will be open to the public 15 minutes prior to the Museum opening hours and will close 15 minutes after the Museum closes during these dates.
Tuesday June 24th – Saturday June 28th, open 09.45am and closes 5.15pm
Sunday June 29th & Monday June 30th, open 12.45pm and closes 5.15pm
Exceptions on the Day of the Mother Block Party Event, Saturday June 28th
Public pedestrians can access the Museum from 10am until 2pm via the Benburb St and Luas pedestrian gates only.
The Arbour Hill gate will be fully closed to the public on Saturday June 28th.
The Museum and Collins Barracks grounds will be closed to the public from 2pm on June 28th
Public Parking
There will be no public parking available at our Collins Barracks site from Tuesday 24th June – Tuesday 01st July inclusive (except for accessible parking - see below).
Accessible Parking
There will be limited accessible parking available on site for blue badge holders from Tuesday 24th June to Tuesday 01st July.
There are no accessible spaces available on the day of the Event, Saturday 28th June. Please liaise with the Steward at the gate when you arrive and they will advise on limited accessible spaces available on Arbour Hill instead.
